Redmi K20 Pro The Redmi K20 Pro is the top-of-the-line flagship smartphone from Redmi and come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display on the front without a notch or a cut-out since the front-facing camera is placed inside a pop-up mechanism. The display itself is a Full HD panel with support for DC dimming and an impressive screen to body ratio of 91.9%. Under the display lies a 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner which Redmi claims is optimized to unlock 30% faster than other smartphones....

With this acquisition, Samsung aims to bolster their software setup to take on its competitors; especially Apple. And why not? Samsung is the only company that is close to Apple in terms of global market share, and possibly the only one making decent money in Android ecosystem. The move comes soon after Google made its entry into the smartphone business as a direct competitor with the launch of the Pixel smartphones....

As we pointed out in our first impressions, it comes with the same processor (the Exynos 9611) as the Galaxy A50s, a broadly similar design (complete with Glastic back with a prism texture effect, although again with no water or dust resistance), a Super AMOLED Full HD+ display, a 48-megapixel main sensor, and an equally large 4000 mAh battery. It is a good looking enough phone, but not really one to turn heads, although the rectangular camera unit on the back marks it out as a recent Samsung device....

A day after LG confirmed that they are working on a curved OLED display for smartphones, Samsung has officially announced Galaxy Round which is available exclusively for SK Telecom in South Korea. Samsung Galaxy Round has a 5.7-inch Full HD screen, very similar to what we saw in Galaxy Note 3, but with a curved OLED display. The immediate upsides for having a curved display on a smartphone is not known, but Samsung is promising lots of software tweaks to make use of the non-flat back of Galaxy Round....

Samsung’s tablet is designed to work with Google Play for Education and is available as of today for $369.99 through Samsung’s own distribution and channel partners. It runs on Android 4.4, comes with a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage which can be extend thanks to the microSD to an additional 64 GB of storage. It has a battery capacity of 6800 mAH which is said to last for 10 hours of normal use....

Apart from employing a series of new stringent tests and precautions, the new Note7 features a relatively smaller 3200mAh battery. The company further mentioned that it will be selling 400,000 phones, all of which utilize components extracted from defective unused Note7 handsets. Samsung also says that it’s put the Galaxy Note Fan Edition’s battery through an 8-point safety check to prevent it from overheating and well, exploding, unlike the previous version....

Just like Samsung, it seems that Sony is experimenting with as many screen sizes as possible. As Brazilian website Techudo informs us, it seems that the Honami might be released on the market with a 5.4 inch size, which should place it somewhere between being called a big smartphone or a phablet. This size makes the alleged Xperia i1 bigger than the Sony Xperia Z but smaller than the Zperia Z Ultra....

I am trying to take a complete backup in case I decide to move out of LP. Unfortunately getting network timeout error :( will keep on trying anyway. It says Account suspended when i try to access cPanel. I now feel there is something happening more than just a network error. My friends in Australia, India, HK, USA are able to access the website, but not me. Just 2 minutes after I connected to FTP, it stopped working....
