To recall, the Surface Go is a 10-inch device that weighs in at just 0.5kg and is 8.3mm thin. What Microsoft aims to provide with the Surface Go is productivity on the move while still maintaining an extremely portable form factor and a slim profile. The Surface Go is equipped with a custom-built high-resolution PixelSense display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 that has support for Microsoft’s Surface Pen with 4096 different levels of pressure sensitivity for note taking as well as drawing or computer-aided graphics purposes, but is sold separately....

This leaves us wondering what might be in Microsoft’s pipeline that the company is boasting about? Well for starters the Tweets by Panos Pranay contained the Surface hashtag. Those megapixels seem similar In terms of sheer megapixel numbers, the camera on the OnePlus 6 has not seen a real bump up as compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 5T. The smartphone comes with a dual camera combination of a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, with both having f/1.7 apertures. A typical design, but not a ‘typical Oppo’ design Oppo’s design language has been pretty out there for a while now. The brand has never shied away from creating designs that would not only turn heads but will also make one stop and stare. Its smartphone designs can be polarising but they will definitely spark conversations. The Oppo F19 Pro+, however, speaks a different language. Oppo for once decided to go with a slightly more subtle, mainstream-looking phone as opposed to the in-your-face design that the brand generally creates....

For context, PUBG Mobile is operated by Tencent which is one of the leading game developers based in China. While the game was under scrutiny due to the fact that the developer was Chinese, it managed to escape the initial ban with some changes to its privacy policy. However, looks like the changes were not sufficient for the Government of India to look past the privacy concerns. The press release states that the ban has been put in place under Section 69A of the IT Act as these 118 apps including PUBG Mobile was found to be misusing user data in an unauthorized manner....

Fast sales mean no slowdown For all the talk of an economic slowdown, the Indian smartphone market is still growing briskly. A record 46.6 million units were shipped in Q3 2019, representing a 26.5 percent increase over the previous quarter (quarter on quarter) and 9.3 percent over the same quarter (year on year) last year. IDC attributes this to “multiple online sale festivals, new model launches, and price corrections on a few key models by various brands....

The intention is to deliver and ease the process of adding dual-cameras on products through a universal technology. Clear Sight is developed based on the way humans’ visualize surroundings – using cones and rods. While the former is detecting colors and details, latter is absorbing light particles. Clear Sight will, as a result, utilize two separate camera sensors with same focal length and aperture for mimicking the purpose of cones and rods....

With the launch of the Snapdragon 780G 5G Mobile Platform today, the Snapdragon 700 series from Qualcomm now has about EIGHT different processors catering to different needs and it can get really confusing to decipher the differences between each of them and how they impact the end-user experience on a smartphone.
