The specs of the Meizu MX5 aren’t slouch either. The all-metal clad smartphone sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display. Speaking of the display, the company utilizes the MiraVision screen display technology, which features sunlight screen and low-light screen that can be dynamically adjusted to balance great vision in all light situations. It is powered by 64-bit capable MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB expandable storage. Other features include an impressive Sony XMOS’s 20.7-megapixel rear camera which is capable of recording 4K videos, and a 5-megapixel snapper upfront. The device is powered by a 3,150mAh battery. Another interesting feature of the phone is its fingerprint scanner which supports mTouch 2.0. The phone supports fast-charging. On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM capable MX5 supports 4G LTE, and other standard options.

In what has turned out to be an interesting event, Meizu is on a roll taking potshots on other companies. The company began with Apple, noting that the Cupertino-based giant’s iPhone 6 Plus isn’t optimized to work on a 5.5-inch phone. Shortly after, the company turned its attention towards Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 810 processor — which as you may remember has earned a bad name for overheating devices.
