Moto E revolutionized the budget android smartphone segment in India and elsewhere. Android smartphones in this segment were known to lag and provide horrendous user experience thanks to cheap hardware and unoptimized software. Motorola’s decision to run the near stock Android OS on a decently powered device helped the cause as well. Moto E 2015 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Nothing much has changed in the camera department, as it still carries the same 5MP camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front. The major upgrade is in 4G LTE support and a bigger 2390mAh battery, which should considerably improve the battery performance. This is also the first ever smartphone from Motorola running on 64-bit processor.

Both of them were exclusive to the flagship Moto X smartphones previously.
