As per a recent report from Gizmochina, OnePlus is indeed working on a OnePlus 5T, and the new device is expected to come with some drastic changes as opposed to the ongoing variant. The OnePlus 5 had gone out of stock in the US recently, and that initially gave birth to the speculation about the OnePlus 5T. Most importantly, the OnePlus 5T will be coming with trimmed bezels, yes the OnePlus is finally expected to jump into the bezel-less bandwagon. All of this is expected to be done by ensuring minimal changes in the phone’s footprint. Also, the OnePlus 5T will come equipped with a much larger 6-inch FHD display set at a resolution of 2160 x 1080px. Until now, I was pretty much convinced that OnePlus will skip the OnePlus 5T since the upgrade for the Snapdragon 835 is yet to arrive. The launch is pegged to be in early November, and we are pretty sure that more details will be unraveled as we move towards the launch. The low resolution renders hint at a bezel-less display that resembles the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Oppo F5 from some quarters. Moreover, the OnePlus 5 is also being sold at a discounted price with attractive exchange offers in India. If the speculations are indeed true, then the OnePlus 5T will offer a completely different design as opposed the OnePlus 5. A quick recap, the OnePlus 5 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 835 paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. On the storage front, the OnePlus 5 is offered in 64GB and 128GB variant.
