Oppo K5: Design and Display
The K5 comes with a gradient design back and comes in three colors: Green, Blue, and White. Towards the front, it features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2340 × 1080 pixels screen resolution, a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top to offer protection against scratches.
Oppo K5: Performance
At its core, the K5 comes with an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618 GPU running under the hood, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It has a 4000mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support to power everything. Further, it comes with dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, NFC, and in-display fingerprint sensor. On the software front, the phone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
Oppo K5: Camera
In terms of optics, the K5 sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 0.8μm pixel size, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 1.75μm pixel size, with LED flash. Towards the front, it has a 32MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
Oppo K5: Pricing and Availability
The Oppo K5 comes in three configurations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB, priced at 1899 yuan (~USD 267 / Rs 18,968), 2099 yuan (~USD 295 / Rs 20,968), and 2499 yuan (~USD 351 / Rs 24,961) respectively. It will be available for order starting today and will go on sale in China starting October 17. There is no word on the international availability of Oppo K5 as yet.
