Poco M2: Design and Display
In terms of design, the Poco M2 features a two-tone pattern with an anti-fingerprint texture and P2i coating on top. Towards the front, the device comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Poco M2 comes in three colors: Pitch Black, Slate Blue, and Brick Red.
Poco M2: Performance
At its core, the Poco M2 runs on the MediaTek Helio G80 running under the hood, which is an octa-core processor based on the 12nm process with up to 2.0GHz clock speed, and the Mali-G52 GPU for graphics processing. To assist the processor, there is 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card). The device includes a 5000mAh battery to power the internals, with 18W fast charging support. For connectivity, the Poco M2 comes with dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. Besides, the device includes a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual microphones, and an IR blaster.
Poco M2: Cameras
In the camera department, the Poco M2 sports a quad-camera array on the rear, with an LED flash. The setup includes a 13MP primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device has an 8MP selfie camera.
Poco M2: Pricing and Availability
The Poco M2 comes in two configurations: 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, priced at Rs 10,999 to Rs 12,499, respectively. It will be available starting September 15 on Flipkart. For the record, Redmi 9 Prime is priced at Rs 9,999 for 4/64GB version and Rs 11,999 for 4/128GB version.
