Realme X7 and X7 Pro

Display

The Realme X7 comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED, with a 2.5D glass on top and Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection. It offers an FHD+ resolution. On the other hand, the Realme X7 Pro has an ever-so-slightly slightly bigger 6.55-inch AMOLED. The display comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and includes a 2.5D glass on top. It offers an FHD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance

Under the hood, the vanilla X7 the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core chipset with the ARM Mali-G57 GPU for graphics, whereas the Pro runs on the powerful Dimensity 1000+, which is also a 7nm octa-core chip, with the Mali-G77 GPU. To aid the processor, the devices come with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB / 256GB (on Realme X7 Pro) of UFS 2.1 storage. The vanilla X7 draws power from a 4300mAh battery, while the Pro gets a slightly bigger 4500mAh. Both of which support 65W SuperDart charging. On the software side of things, the two phones run on realmeUI based on Android 10, out of the box.

As for other specifications, both Realme X7 and X7 Pro come with 5G SA/ NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, and NFC. They have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, there is also support for Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos.

Camera

In the camera department, the Realme X7 and X7 Pro both sport the same quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 64MP primary (Sony IMX686) sensor supplemented with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Towards the front, the two phones have the same 32MP camera.

Realme V3

As already mentioned, the Realme V3 is an affordable 5G smartphone from Realme, and therefore, it does cut down on the specifications and features when compared to the X7 and X7 Pro. For starters, there is a 6.52-inch LCD with a mini-drop notch for the front camera. The display offers a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. At its core, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 720, which is an octa-core chipset, based on the 7nm process, and has the Mali-G57 GPU for graphics processing. There is 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. For powering the internals, the device includes a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

In terms of connectivity, there is 5G SA / NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and Bluetooth 5.0. Moreover, there is a USB Type-C port and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the software front, the device runs on realmeUI based on Android 10. Moving to the camera specifications, the Realme V3 sports a triple camera setup on the rear, with an LED flash. The setup includes a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor accompanied by a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there is an 8MP (f/2.0) camera.

As for the availability, the Realme 7 series will be available in China starting September 7, whereas the V3 will be available a couple of days later, from September 9.
