Apart from the switch feature, WhatsApp has also added yet another useful feature (currently exclusive for iOS). The new Audio preview feature will let WhatsApp users listen to a preview of their voice recording before sending it out to the recipient. Until now the users had no choice but to send the WhatsApp recordings without listening to it. Additionally, any incoming call would interrupt and abandon the voice recording process, this bottleneck also seems to be solved now. Please note that the Voice Recording preview is only for iOS users. As part of the latest update, WhatsApp will start saving the voice recordings locally. Irrespective of whether your voice recording is interrupted by low battery, incoming call or any other operations it will be saved nevertheless. Before you send out the voice message WhatsApp will allow you to preview the same by pressing the small “Play” button as shown in the picture above. I tried this feature on my iPhone and it is working perfectly. It’s also worth mentioning that WhatsApp users can now also delete the voice message after they preview it. WhatsApp is currently one of the largest messaging apps with nearly 1.5 billion users. If the recent reports are to be believed the company is also working on integrating the UPI payment system and is currently testing the same with services like BookMyShow, MakeMyTrip, and others.
