As reported by WABetaInfo, the Picture-in-Picture mode now supports videos shared from various online platforms on the newest released version of WhatsApp Web, 0.3.2041. However, users do not require to manually install the update, since, every time they open WhatsApp on their desktop, the app recognizes the current version and looks for any new updates. And in case it finds one, it automatically updates to a newer version. So, all you need to do enjoy the new PiP mode is open WhatsApp Web on your desktop and wait for it to update automatically. In case, you don’t see the update, you can clear the cache of your browser, restart it, and check again. You can try your hands on the feature yourself by sending a link to a video from any of the above-mentioned services and hovering over it until it recognizes the video and opens up a PiP window with your video. We tried testing the feature ourselves but did not see the picture-in-picture window pop-out on hovering the link. So, it seems that the feature might not be available for everyone at this time, and it might take some time to slowly roll-out to all the users. Have you got the update? Do you like it?
