A recent report coming from China reveals Xiaomi is looking forward to incorporating the tri-bezel less design of the Mi MIX 2 into its upcoming Mi Max 3. For starters, the Xiaomi Mi Max lineup constitute of its mid-range phablet offering. As evident from the name, these smartphones sport the largest display among all of Xiaomi’s lineup. And guess what, Xiaomi is prepping to take the game even further by packing a humongous 7-inch display in its Mi Max 3. This places the phablet in the league of the tablets. However, the new Full Screen 18:9 FHD+ (2,160 x 1,080p) display will help in markedly reducing its footprint. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. This is the same processor powering the Oppo R11s, Mi Note 3, Vivo X20 Plus and many more. The presence of the huge display warrants a larger battery, therefore Xiaomi would be including a 5,500mAH unit inside its Mi Max 3. Additionally, the smartphone would come with support for Quick Charge 3.0. A leaked render posted on Weibo reveals the presence of a dual rear camera on the upcoming phablet. Moreover, the smartphone is seen sporting a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Mi Max 3 is expected to run on Android Nougat with MIUI 9 on top. Xiaomi is expected to debut this smartphone somewhere around the middle of next year.
