The Xiaomi Mi6 features a sumptuous build consisting of a four-sided curved 3D glass splash-resistant build enclosed in a glossy stainless steel chassis. The Dual-Camera setup houses two 12MP sensors, one wide-angle and a telephoto lens. Just like Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus, the setup allows for 2X Optical Zoom and lets you alter the depth-of-field for bokeh shots. Thanks to the integrated ISP algorithms, you can even utilize the 10X digital zoom if required. Moreover, Xiaomi has also packed 4 axis Optical Image Stabilization which works in conjunction with the inbuilt accelerometer and gyroscope. On the front, Xiaomi has included an 8MP shooter for those selfies and video calls.
In terms of raw specifications, the new Mi6 sports a 5.15-inch Full HD panel and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 10nm 64-bit processor, Adreno 540, 6GB of RAM, 3350mAh battery, and 64/128/256GB of onboard storage. It comes with Android Nougat out-of-the-box, with Xiaomi’s own MiUI layered on top of it. Furthermore, Xiaomi has retained the fingerprint scanner from the Mi5, although this time it’s under the glass and oval-shaped. On the bottom, you’ll also find a pair of stereo speakers and a USB Type-C port. There’s even a blue color option (along with black and white) that looks suspiciously inspired from Huawei’s Honor 8. Oh, and Xiaomi is courageously hoping the no-headphone-jack bandwagon with the Mi6.

Xiaomi Mi6 Pricing and Availability
As far as pricing is concerned, the Mi6 will cost you 2499 RMB (~Rs 23,436) for the 6GB+64GB variant and 2899 yuan for the 6GB+128GB variant (~Rs 27,185). There’s also a ceramic edition which is priced at RMB 2999 (Rs 28,127) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. Mi6 is available in China starting from 28 April on Mi.com, Mi Home and participating online merchants.
